Latest Update - Bad Foods

What is it about foods that are bad for you that make them so addictive? I know some people say it's sugar, but why is it that when you're having a bad day, or feel a bit down, that all you want to eat is chocolate or crisps or eat pasta. Why do they all seem to be so "comforting" I really don't get it, can anyone explain?
I seem to go in a cycle where I'm really good, then I "fall off the wagon" as I put it, and eat badly, then give myself a good old kick and get back onto the healthy eating again. I know I've said this before, but I feel so much better when being healthy so why don't I just stick to it and carry on, why do we have these downfalls? It's madness.

So anyway I'm going to get back onto the healthy lifestyle kick and attempt to break the cycle. I mentioned last week that I'm going to stop drinking coffee, if I'm honest I haven't managed that just yet, but it is my aim that as of next Monday – NO MORE COFFEE for me. Eeeekkk – but I can do it, I can, I can, I can ☺.

If anyone knows why I want to comfort eat on bad foods – please do share, and if you've managed to overcome it HOW??????

Thank you all, and I hope everyone is doing well on their health kicks – do share any stories in the comments section.

Take care.
